A long journey with multiple outcomes
After almost five years of experience from the ground, the LIFE RESILIENT FORESTS project comes to an end. Several events and activities have been organised across Europe and online. Insightful reports and papers are available on the project's website, together with Decision Support System Tool for Forest Managers.
On the 22nd of March 2023, partners of the Resilient Forests poject gathered in Valencia for the conclusion of the project and its final event.
The final event titled “Resilient Mediterranean Forests: improving ecosystem services and sustainable management” saw multilple interventions from Forest experts from the project consortium but also from third parties or other projects.
The project LIFE RESILIENT FORESTS – Coupling water, fire and climate resilience with biomass production from forestry to adapt watersheds to climate change is co-funded by the LIFE Programme of the European Union under contract number LIFE 17 CCA/ES/000063.
